The following day M3 held the Scottish Championships Sprint Triathlon in Monikie, at which we held our club champs event.  A sunny start to the day quickly turned to torrential rain for the race, but despite this, we had some fantastic results.  Robert Sparks, competing in his first adult distance event, and Jane Askey both claimed Scottish Champion titles winning their respective categories finishing in 1.06.57 and 2.07.23.  Excellent performances from everyone else as well, with several sprint distance debuts being made; Alasdair Hood 1.23.20, Craig Trewartha 1.20.16, Adrian Wood 1.25.27, Gwen Tivendale 1.29 approx, JF Geyer 1.31.36, Sally Newman Carter 1.32.32, Tricia Wallace 1.43.50, Jennifer Brookes 1.43.41 and Suzanne Dolan 1.54.45.  Robert and Gwen claimed the Club Champs prize finishing as fastest male and female of the club.
